At 1.30pm, there was a mass, n a memorial service were held in remembering those who were lost in the recent tsunami disaster in asia. The memorial service was held at Iona chaplancy church. The ceremony unify 3 religions deeply effected by it, christianity, islam, n hinduism on one common ground, humanity. the ceremony starts with a hyme by the choir society (nice) then followed by "reflection" by representative of muslim cultural society, me n najihah. we recite a poem made by azan, about the effects of tsunami on human lives, it was an emotional n moving poem. there were sorrow music played by the traditions society, a preach by a hindu representative n lastly, fairuz with alquran.. then 3 of those people, read a pray together. there was a candle lit.. n a one minute silent.. it's my 1st time in church n my 1st time wearing sampin inside a church.. people were looking.. but it was a great experience!
