After a heavy breakfast in Gothic Point we took off to experience Barcelona. first up, the Cathedral. nice big doors with ancient carvings, typical. then we took the Barcelona official bus tour, tickets for 2 days.

Visited the Placa de Catalunya; the city's centre with the famous Rambla boulevard having flower stalls, markets, stalls, pet merchants, opera house, even Museum de Erotica. Then we stopped by at the Passeig de Gracia - La Pedrera (Casa mila) built by Gaudi (the world famous wacko architect) with organic forms and unique tiles.. marvellous. next, another great building by Antoni Gaudi - Casa Batllo , with its attic n rooftops of undulating chimneys and weird shapes.. kagum sungguh.

We then come to Sagrada Familia, the worlds only cathedral under construction, and Barcelona's symbol. it's size and Gaudi's Gila-gila design makes it a must-see stop.

Another Gaudi's fine creation, Park Guell , a world heritage site.. is a park with english style designs and merging nature with design, memang an eye-opener.. how did he do it??
